Copper elbows heated to burn out any residual oil, the elbows will get compressed into briquettes then electro refined to part the copper from the silver.

Carbon electrode enter of mass, running at 6 volts, already copper is being plated onto the stainless steel sheet.

Copper deposit is fluffy because I'm running the cell at high voltage.

Day two, copper peeled from stainless cathode. Some sludge is forming on the bottom of the cell this will be the silver I'm after.

So what do you do with the copper thats left? do you smelt it back into a bar or so?

if I'm lucky and get sheets of copper that peel off the stainless steel cathode I use these as starter sheets.
